Problem: For over a century, audiences have been watching films on flat, 2D screens. As a result, all televisions and screens have traditionally been designed to display two-dimensional images. However, recent advancements in technology have ushered in a new era of immersive media, enabling viewers to experience content within three-dimensional environments. This shift in engagement marks a revolutionary change in how we interact with visual media.

To explore the potential of 3D content and the future of immersive viewing experiences, our team has embarked on an ambitious challenge: creating the first fully volumetric augmented reality (AR) film.

Solution: Unlike traditional 3D films that rely on illusionary depth on 2D screens, volumetric films allow viewers to experience the content in true three-dimensional space. This pioneering project integrates cutting-edge AR technology, allowing users to view the film in real-world environments and interact with it from various angles, bringing an unprecedented level of engagement and immersion.

Our goal is to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, paving the way for a future where films are not confined to flat surfaces but can be experienced as dynamic, volumetric narratives within the viewer's own surroundings. This project not only explores the technical possibilities of 3D screening but also lays the groundwork for a new form of cinematic storytelling that could redefine entertainment as we know it.
